Price, Roy And Edler On The Move
Firesale in Buffalo? GM Coldwell Moving Top Pieces
1/
22/12

There has been word from a source very close to the Buffalo Sabres that Carey
Price, Derek Roy and Alexander Edler are the move. The team which they are
going to is not known at this time, but this source says that there are 4 to 6
teams interested in all three of the players.

"All I am going to say about this rumour is that as fo right now no one is going
anywhere. Yes, I have shopped a few players to other teams, but we haven't
come to an agreement on anything. I will make an announcement once I have
something to report." GM Coldwell when asked about rumoured trade.

The source, says that this will shake the team and the league up even before
the season starts.

"Mr. Coldwell hasn't approached me in asking me if I would mind being traded
or if I would agree to a trade. I don't really pay attention to what our general
manager is doing as I am preparing for the upcoming season." Carey Price
when asked if he knows about the rumours of being traded.

"I am in the dark here, as I haven't heard anything from Mr. Coldwell or anyone
else in our organization, so I will have to decline to comment until I hear it from
GM Coldwell." Alex Edler on the rumours of being traded.

The source close to the hockey club said that the deal will be approved by both
teams once the trade freeze is lifted, which could be about a week away.

It seems like the general manager isn't hesitating to put his mark on this team
since taking over at the helm.

New Devils GM Here!!!
Devils Introduce GM DesMarais
1/
22/12

Hey boys name is Joe DesMarais and i'm the
new Devils Gm. I wanted to take this time to
give you boys some info about myself and my
expectations on this club.

I'm 32 yrs old and live in Rhod Island USA.
I'm a fulltime fireman here in Providence and
have been for the last 12yrs. I'm married with
one daughter.

Ive been doing these leagues for over 20yrs
and love fantasy hockey more than life itself.
I'm a trade freak and really really active. I
love draft leagues but wish I was added so
that I could have drafted my own club. Below
i'll list all the contact info, however the best
way is via my regular email at
cska76x@yahoo.com I'm on it 24/7 and
through my phone. I do check pm's often and
try to get on MSN messenger when I can but
with a baby at the house its tougher.

Out of my current team Stamkos, Pavelski,
Suter, and Mcdonaugh probably wont be
moved because thier young and I
PERSONLLY like them however they might
move with the right offer. I'm a diehard
RANGERS fan so McDonaugh wont be
moving no matter what.

I plan on going young, being patient and
rebuilding, etc so all my players over 25yrs old
are open and can be moved.

Dallas Grabs PEI Boy In First Round
Stars Grab Talented Gormley
1/7/11

Dallas- The Dallas Stars made there 1st round
selection yesterday taking Brandon Gormley
from the QMJHL League. Alot of fans thought
that we would be taking a forward said GM
Randolph, but we couldnt pass up having this
stud Dman patrolling the blue line for the
stars in the near future.

Here is a scouting report - A talented two-way
defenseman, Gormley provides excellent skill,
poise and leadership on the back-end. He is
as solid as a rock in his own zone and never
shies away from contact. He is very calm with
the puck on his stick and can slow the game
down to make smart reads with passing or to
keep the puck and carry it himself. An
excellent skater, Gormley also possesses a
bullet of a point shot which he utitlizes by
keeping it low and accurate.

His Future in the League- Gormley is
projected to be a top 2 Dman pairing at the
NHLsim level. His ability to put up points both
five-on-five and on the powerplay coupled
with his strong defensive presence has
Gormley seemingly on the cusp of the NHL at
just 19 years of age.
